"The manager knows better than us what kind of player he wants to bring here for the system he is playing. The squad is very strong. If there is a new player we will only get better".
It's only talk at this stage, but it sounds to me like Didier is fairly convinced someone new will be joining the squad. If someone does join, Chelsea will have left it late in the window again - but if it helps solve the creativity problem it will be well worth the wait.
Whilst we all wait for the Aguero signing to be announced (fingers crossed), don't be put off by rumours circulating that it's actually Seedorf that's now made it to Ancelotti's 'over the hill midfielder' most wanted list...
Let's hope we get the signing we need to mount a successful title challenge. Don't forget that you could be in with a chance of winning Chelsea books and a DVD simply by posting who you think will win the league here.
A team which creates five or six clear cut chances among the 20 odd attempts doesn't lack a creativity problem.

We have now been linked with almost everyone in the Milan midfield except Gattuso and maybe I just missed that one. From what Drogba says it seems to me that person they are trying to bring in will surprise everyone. Saying how the coach knows best makes me think it is not an obvious player choice.
As for Seedorf, I felt the last 2 seasons he has lost a step and would not a be wise choice. From my previous comments you can tell that I don't mind the "older" midfielders because they offer a level of stability. Pirlo, Beckham, Seedorf those guys know how to play the game and have all played in and won big games. They know how to win and do the things to help their team win. When I watch Mikel, there is no denying his talent, but I sometimes get the feeling he is lacking experience and field presence.
